ChronoFEED-COACH Help
The coach's Android app, on a tablet. During training, ChronoFEED-FINISH sends it the laps of YOUR athletes, with what happened on the track (group, position, gaps, laps led, passes). COACH turns them into training load, best runs of laps, progress over years, and a PDF report to send to the athlete.
- Getting started
Install, activate the licence, pair the tablet with FINISH, receive a first session.

The same functions on a PC: a FINISH-style window, Ctrl+K search, access request to the athletes of the current session, report by e-mail.

How it works
- Once per athlete, the coach requests access from the tablet: it shows the athletes of the current session of a FINISH (chips in the FINISH colours), the coach ticks theirs and sends the request; the FINISH operator accepts it fully or partly (Coaches panel), and the tablet receives these athletes at once. Without an answer within 5 minutes, nothing changes. To add more later: a new request.
- Then, at every training session, the tablet finds the arena's FINISH stations on the Wi-Fi by itself, catches up on the sessions it missed and receives the laps live. It finds its athletes on any FINISH that accepts COACH, with no new request.
- For each athlete, the coach sets a load curve: what a lap is worth depending on its time. COACH calculates each session's load with the curve in effect on that day.
- The coach comments on the session and the laps, and sends the PDF report to the athlete through Android sharing (Quick Share, email…). The athlete installs nothing.
Your data
- The tablet keeps your athletes' data for 10 years, then erases it by itself.
- It is encrypted on the tablet; the key is kept by Android's safe (Keystore) and never leaves it. It does not go into Android backups.
- Your rights to your athletes last as long as your COACH licence is valid: once renewed, you keep everything.
The example data
The examples in this help are made up: coach Mathilde Exemple, her athletes Jérémie Exemple, Maude Essai and Noah Fictif (Club d'essai), the Starford test oval (111.12 m track) and its FINISH-Starford computer (192.168.1.20). They are also the app's demo data.
