ChronoFEED FINISH Help

The timekeeper's computer. FINISH receives every passing from your equipment (transponder decoders, photocells, photo finish, numeric keypad), keeps the laps and standings of every race in progress, stores them in the database and broadcasts them to the TABLEAU displays and to the speech synthesis of VOICE. Races come from EVENT, from a file, or are created on the spot.

The sample data

The examples in this help use an invented federation, clubs and athletes: the national federation SPEEDSKATING FAMOUS (SKF), its regional federation HOLLYWOOD SPEEDSKATING (HSK), nine clubs and eighty athletes, and the Coupe Hollywood long track competition at the Starford oval (400 m), the same one as in the EVENT help.
