Licence and settings

The last two screens of the menu.

Licence

  • The licence state, checked without Internet (green: valid; orange: trial; red: expired), the product (ChronoFEED-COACH), the tablet fingerprint and the end of the active token.
  • Activate my licence: paste the COA-… token received at purchase (Paste, then Activate; Internet needed that time), or the text of a .lic file; or Choose a file…; or tap the attachment in the email and choose ChronoFEED-COACH. Step by step: Activate my licence.
  • Renew now: the licence renews itself whenever the tablet has Internet; this button does it right away.
  • Release this tablet: to activate the token on another tablet. This one keeps its licence until it expires, then no longer synchronizes.
  • A token covers one device at a time: this tablet or ChronoFEED-COACH on a PC. For both at the same time, you need two tokens.

Without a licence, the trial period lets you discover the app (demo data), not synchronize: FINISH requires a valid COACH licence.

Coach

Your name, printed on the PDF reports.

Language

Français, English, Nederlands, Deutsch. By default, Android's language (otherwise English); another choice applies at the next start.

Start of the season

The day and month a season starts (July 1 by default): the “per season” totals of the Load screen start from it.

Sessions: the break that starts a new one

Sessions: new session after a break of 1 h (default), 1 h 15, 1 h 30, 2 h, 3 h or 4 h. An athlete's session is their run of laps with no longer break, whatever the FINISH sessions: resurfacing the ice does not split a practice. Never less than one hour. Changing the break regroups all sessions (nothing is deleted; comments follow their laps).

Demo data

Create demo data: three fictitious athletes (Jérémie Exemple, Maude Essai, Noah Fictif), two and a half years of made-up sessions and their load curves (Jérémie has two). Never sent or synchronized; Erase demo data removes them without touching the rest.

Your data

  • Encryption: the tablet's database is encrypted (AES-256); its key is protected by the Android Keystore and never leaves the tablet. Nothing goes into Android backups: a lost tablet does not give away its data, a new tablet starts from scratch (pair it again; FINISH resends the history it has kept).
  • Retention: 10 years. Older sessions, with their comments, are erased automatically.
  • PDF reports and CSV files leave the tablet only if you share them.
  • Erase all data on the tablet: athletes, sessions, comments, curves, known FINISH stations. You will have to request access to your athletes again.
