Athletes on the track
When FINISH is in training mode, this tab replaces the races and the distribution: who is on the track, with which transponders, and an athlete arriving from the trackside.
- The training in progress, as named by FINISH.
- The training board: greyed out in distribution mode; it is changed in admin mode.
- The form: last name, first name, date of birth.
- The consent: when ticked, FINISH keeps the athlete in its list.
- The hook chosen on the board and its transponders (double hook: 2 feet); then “Join the training”.
- MAPPING badge, blue background: arrived from the trackside; their transponders (identifier and usual code, 2 feet), their laps, the last and the best.
- “Return”: their transponders go back on the board.
- Transponders returned: the athlete stays in the list, with their laps.
- Green badge: personal transponders, entered in FINISH (2 feet, or 1 foot just below).
The list
At the top: “Current training: …” (or “The training starts at the first crossing of the line.”) and the count, “8 athlete(s) on the track · 3 via MAPPING”. Each line shows the athlete, the transponders (identifier and usual code, “1 foot” or “2 feet”), the laps (“12 lap(s) · last … · best …”) and a badge:
- MAPPING, blue background: arrived from the trackside (kept in FINISH's athlete list, or for this training only);
- Personal transponders, green badge: entered in FINISH;
- Chip: a transponder alone, without a known athlete.
An athlete who has returned the transponders stays in the training, with the results (“Transponders returned”).
The training board
Training board: the distribution board whose hooks are given to athletes. It is changed in admin mode. Without a board, MAPPING says so: “No distribution board: prepare one in admin mode (Boards tab)”.
Join the training
- Name, First name, Date of birth.
- The consent box: “I agree that FINISH keeps my name and date of birth in its athlete list”. Without consent, or without a valid identity, the athlete exists for this training only: FINISH forgets the athlete when the training is closed.
- Choose the transponders on the board…: tap a free hook; the whole hook goes to the athlete (2 transponders for a double hook, 1 for a single one). A transponder already worn on the track is refused.
- Join the training: MAPPING checks, then sends to FINISH, which answers (green or red message).
Return
Return, on the line of an athlete who arrived from the trackside and still wears the transponders: they become available again; the athlete stays in the training.
