Correct a result
A result that is already official and already on the scoreboards is disputed. You take the race off the scoreboards while you check, correct it, make it official again, then put it back.
Example, Coupe Hollywood longue piste: in the 500 m Femmes, the photo finish shows that Lotte Verhaegen (#102) crossed the line in 42.79 and not in 42.97 as the selected time says. The heat “500 m Femmes — P19” is official and broadcast.
Step by step
- Take the race off the scoreboards
Races tab: untick Broadcast on the 500 m Femmes row (or in the Broadcast module, it is the same box).
The 500 m Femmes disappears from TABLEAU immediately (status “removed”); the log records “Event removed from the scoreboards”. The rest of the event keeps being broadcast.
- Reopen the heat
Results tab, race 500 m Femmes, heat “500 m Femmes — P19”. Type the reason in Reason (log) (“Photo finish check”), then Withdraw official status.
“Heat 500 m Femmes — P19 is no longer official: it can be corrected.” The reason is required.
- Correct the official time
Standings tab, Overall standings sub-tab, race 500 m Femmes: on the tile of Lotte's last lap, double-click the photo finish (PF) time, or right-click → Take this time: Photo finish (42.790). Confirm the preview (official time before → after).
OFF = 42.790. A mistake? Ctrl+Z writes back the previous value.
- Carry it over to the heat
Results tab → Import results → Read the database. The window lists the heats receiving results and the entries made by hand that differ from FINISH; Import. (You can also correct the time directly in the heat's grid, with a reason, then Save.)
Lotte's row takes 42.790; rank and gap are recalculated.
- Make it official again
Make the heat official.
- Put the race back on the scoreboards
Tick Broadcast again.
The 500 m Femmes goes back to the scoreboards, with the corrected standings.
