Schedule
The event program: in what order and at what time each heat starts, arranged in sessions (a day, a start time) and separated by breaks. Numbers and planned times go to FINISH; sessions, breaks and the heats of each race can go to the displays. Unlike the other tabs, nothing is written before “Save”.

- The commands: order (▲ ▼ move all the selected rows), breaks and sessions, collapse, undo / redo, save, export, print, send to TABLEAU.
- The program: the session (▾ / ▸ expands or collapses it), its heats and the break. Two selected rows (Ctrl+click) move together; the break's label is edited in place (double-click or F2).
- The settings, then the selected row: a heat whose duration was entered by hand (pencil in the Duration column).
The program
Program
Where: Schedule, in the middle
A sequence of rows: sessions (“Day 1”, a day and a start time; 9:00 on the first day of the event by default) and, in each session, slots and breaks (resurfacing, ceremony). A slot is one heat in Time mode, one round of a race in Position mode (all its heats: “12A, 12B”; rounds not yet generated are already there, with the number of heats in their plan, “(estimated)”). Columns: No., Time, End, Event, Round / heats, Athletes, Duration, and ⚠ if the row has a warning.
Times and numbers are recalculated with each action: each heat lasts the approximate race time of its race (start to start; suggested from the distance when empty), otherwise the default duration, except a duration entered by hand; a break moves the time forward by its duration, a session resets it to its start. A single counter for the whole event: one number per heat in Time, one number per round in Position (its heats take a letter: “7A”, “7B”). A heat already exported or raced keeps its number.
Collapsing: ▾ / ▸ in front of a session collapses or expands it. A collapsed session keeps its times; the ⚠ of a hidden row moves to the session.
Selecting several rows: Ctrl+click adds or removes a row, Shift+click selects a range, Ctrl+A selects everything.
By hand: drag a row onto another (it takes its place: just before it when moving up, just after it when moving down). Drag a selected row: all the selected rows go with it, in one move, and are grouped in their order, even if they were far apart. The ▲ ▼ arrows (Ctrl+↑ / Ctrl+↓): the selected rows move up or down one row, grouped. After the move they stay selected; times, numbers and warnings are recalculated, and a single Ctrl+Z undoes the whole move (Ctrl+Y redoes it). The opening session stays first. A new heat (heats regenerated, round added) is placed after the previous slot of its race; a heat that disappeared is removed; sessions and breaks stay.
Label of a break: double-click the break, or press F2 when it is selected, then type the label (“Resurfacing”); Enter keeps it, Esc discards it. Its duration is changed in “Selected row”.
Under the list, the races that do not have heats yet (“No heats (Line-up module): …”) or, in Position, no saved plan.
The selected row (on the right): for a session, its name, day and start time; for a break, its label and duration; for a heat, the duration of each heat. Durations: “3:00”, “2,5” (minutes), “90 s”.
Warnings, never blocking: a round placed before a round that should come before it, a heat that runs after a faster heat (“best are no longer last”), athletes who race again before the minimum gap, a fixed round out of its place, a duplicate number, a session that starts before the previous one ends.
Add a break
Where: Schedule, top bar
A 15-minute break after the selected row (resurfacing, ceremony, intermission). Its label is changed in the list (double-click or F2) or in “Selected row”, its duration in “Selected row”.
Add a session
Where: Schedule, top bar
A new session (“Day 2”…) after the selected row: another day, or another start time on the same day. The following rows start from its time.
Duration of each race (min:s)
Where: Schedule, Selected row (a heat)
The duration of each heat of this slot. Calculated, it is the race's approximate race time (otherwise the default duration); where it comes from is shown under the field. A duration entered here is manual: the calculation no longer changes it, even when the race time changes, and a pencil marks it in the Duration column. Empty, or “Back to the calculation”: the calculated duration comes back. Durations set for a race in the schedule before 2.0.29 become manual durations of its heats.
Collapse all
Where: Schedule, top bar
Shows only the sessions: the program at a glance. ▸ in front of a session expands it alone. Times and warnings stay right.
Expand all
Where: Schedule, top bar
Shows every row again.
Remove
Where: Schedule, top bar
Removes the selected break or session (the opening session stays). A heat is not removed from here: it disappears from the program when it disappears from the Line-up module.
Save
Where: Schedule, top bar (Ctrl+S)
Writes the program, and for FINISH the number and planned time of each heat (“Schedule saved: 16 heat(s) updated.”). In Position mode, the number of each round (even one not yet generated: generation picks it up) and the name of heats neither exported nor raced (“12A” becomes “7A”); a race that has a naming pattern is renamed according to its pattern. Raced heats do not move. A “program” line is written to the log.
Until this is done, “Unsaved changes” is shown; a refresh requested by another tab keeps the program in progress.
Discard
Where: Schedule, top bar
Forgets the changes not yet saved (after confirmation) and reloads the saved program.
Export (CSV)…
Where: Schedule, top bar
The program as CSV, one row per session, break and heat: No., date, time, end, race, round, heat, athletes, duration.
Print…
Where: Schedule, top bar
The same table, printed (“Schedule — Coupe Hollywood longue piste”, “Printed on …”, with the note “unsaved changes” if relevant). Choose the “Microsoft Print to PDF” printer for a PDF.
Send to TABLEAU
Where: Schedule, top bar
Sessions and breaks (name, start, end) go to TABLEAU through the Broadcast module: right away if it is running, otherwise when it starts. Consecutive heats of the same race, with no break or session between them, go grouped into a block named after the race (“1500 m Women”, from its first to its last heat); nothing about athletes or times is sent. Afterwards, the saved schedule is sent again on its own: after “Save”, when heats change, when broadcasting starts. Sent before saving, the screen goes as it is, unsaved changes included.
TABLEAU shows it in the “Event programme” view: the current block and the next one highlighted according to the time.
Remove from TABLEAU
Where: Schedule, top bar
The displays no longer show the schedule, and it is no longer sent on its own. Opening another event or stopping the broadcast also removes it from the displays; it is sent again at the next start.
The settings
Default heat duration (min:s)
Where: Schedule, Settings
The time from one start to the next for a race that has neither an approximate race time nor a distance: 3:00 by default.
Minimum gap between two races of an athlete (min:s)
Where: Schedule, Settings
An athlete who races again earlier is flagged (without blocking): from the estimated end of one heat to the start of the next, on the heats already formed. 15:00 by default; empty: no check.
Final A last (best last) Position
Where: Schedule, Settings
In a round of finals, final A starts after finals B, C… Ticked by default.
Default order: race by race Position
Where: Schedule, Settings
Ticked: each race runs all its rounds before the next one. Unticked: all the first rounds, then the quarterfinals, the semifinals, the finals (best last).
Default order…
Where: Schedule, Settings
Puts the slots back in the default order, best last: in Time, race by race, the heats in the order of generation (slow ones first); in Position, according to the box above. Breaks and later sessions are removed (“Undo” brings them back).
