Add a late entry

The heats are formed and sent to FINISH when an athlete arrives. You enter her, compute her seeding and place her in a heat without regenerating anything.

Example, Coupe Hollywood longue piste: Inès Belkacem (A031, U17, Grand Écran Vitesse) enters the 1000 m Femmes on Saturday morning, with a time of 1:44.42. The 1000 m Femmes is raced in quartets; with 37 women, one pair was left incomplete (1/2).

Step by step

  1. Enter her

    Entries tab → Athletes…, search for “Belkacem” (she has been in the database since the athletes were imported), then Enter the checked athletes (or the selected one). An athlete who is not in the database is first created with New athlete.

    She appears in the entries grid.

  2. Enter her in the 1000 m Femmes, give her a bib and a time

    In her row: tick the box in the 1000 m Femmes column, type bib 141 in the Bib column (red if it is already taken). In the row details, the entry time for the 1000 m Femmes: 1:44.42. Everything is saved immediately.

  3. Compute her seeding

    Performances module, race 1000 m Femmes → Compute seeding.

    Inès has her seeding time (source “Entry”). The existing heats do not move.

  4. Place her

    Line-up sub-tab: the athletes column, filter Not placed, shows her card (“1 unplaced”). Drag it onto the incomplete heat.

    The preview announces “Place Inès BELKACEM in “1000 m Femmes — P01””; the heat goes to 2/2, in the log. With automatic sending, the FINISH race follows two seconds later (as long as it has not started).

If there is no free spot
