Name, Chart, Screen, Screen background

Name
The view's name, the name of its file and the one you choose in the panel. Renamed then saved, the old file disappears and the scenario follows.
Chart
The view type: “Athlete table (one row per athlete)”, “Athlete cards (repeated area)”, “Race cards”, “Schedule”, “EVENT overall standings (one card per athlete, page by page)”, “EVENT event programme (sessions, blocks and breaks)”.
Screen (W × H)
The design size, 1920 × 1080 by default; the screen scales it.
Screen background
The colour behind everything. Green 00FF00: video overlay.

Card area

SettingEffect
Banner heightThe cards start below the banner (this height + 6 pixels). Banner elements can be placed anywhere.
Bottom marginThe space left free below the cards.
Columns (laps)The number of cards per row; in an athlete table, the number of lap columns (“N”, “N-1”…).
Column widthThe width of a card; in an athlete table, that of a lap column (at least 90 pixels).
Row heightThe height of a card (of a row).
Page (s)When the cards or rows do not fit, the next page comes after this delay (8 s by default; 3 s for a new “Athlete table” view). The “Pagination (x/y)” banner field shows the page. Overall standings: the duration of each page.
Pagination offAlways the first page: the cards that do not fit are never shown. Handy in practice with the sort by last passing (the latest at the top). Not shown for the EVENT overall standings.
Header heightAthlete table only: the row of column titles; 0: the height of a row. The number of lines per page takes it into account.

Images

Background #1, #2, #3 and Logo: images from the backgrounds folder, shown by the elements “Image, background #1”… “Image, logo/sponsor” and “Image, banner logo”. Add an image… copies a file into the backgrounds folder and offers it in these lists. The view only keeps the file's name: copy the backgrounds folder along with the views to take them to another computer.

Banner #1 to #4: the images of the elements “Image, banner background #1” to “#4”. They are the same backgrounds as those of the cards, but placed in the screen (the banner): a frame, a background or a graphic layout around the results area. The image fills the element's rectangle, on top of its background (colour, opacity, border, radius); with no image, the background alone. Their place among the banner elements follows their altitude, or behind the cards. A list left empty is not written in the view.

Formats

Time
The format of race times (final, clock, cumulative, records). Decimals are truncated, never rounded; under one minute, the minutes are not written, but the seconds keep two digits (9.876 s: “09.8”).
Laps and gaps
The format of lap times, lap columns, lapping and gaps.
Minutes after (s)
The “in seconds” formats (62.4, 62 4, 2 4…) switch automatically to “1:02.45” as soon as the time reaches this limit (60 s).
Name
LAST NAME, First name (“VERHAEGEN, Lotte”), Short name (the one FINISH broadcasts, otherwise the full one), Initiales (initials, “VL”), F. LASTNAME (“L. VERHAEGEN”), Dossard (bib).
Pair prefix
Written before the number in the Pairing field: “Pair” gives “Pair 1” (the space is added after a letter or a digit), “#” gives “#1”. Empty: the number alone.
Official time
The prefix and suffix of the “Official time” field.
Timer info: laps (%)
The share of time “Timer info” shows the laps to go (the rest: the leader's speed); 50 by default.
Overall: ahead, Overall: behind
Two sets of two colours, Background and Text, for the gaps in the FINISH overall standings (“Overall, difference”, “Team (pursuit), gap”). “Ahead”: the athlete leads (“-0.34”), is tied or first to pass (“0”) — green background, white text by default. “Behind”: they trail the first (“+0.21”) — red background, white text. Empty background: the element's colours; empty text: black or white depending on the background. A view saved with an earlier version keeps exactly its appearance.

The last format is a reading for the voice (VOICE); on the screen, it is displayed as “1:02.4”. Laps are written “4” or “3,25”, distances “400m” or “1 500m” (as the software displays them).

Record abbreviations

The abbreviations written before the time in the New personal best, New season best (personal), New track record (personal) (“R-P -0.12s”) and All records (“RM 33.61 … · PISTE 34.10 …”) fields. Each view has its own: a view in English can write “PB”, “SB”, “WR”, “NR”… A space is added between the abbreviation and the time. Empty field: no abbreviation, the time alone, with no space before it (“-0.12s”).

Filters and sorting

Sort
Position (the standings, then the start position), Start position (the athletes stay at their starting place: pairs, quartets), Name, Last passing (the one who just passed moves to the top).
Athletes
All (otherwise past) unticked: only those who have already crossed the line (or finished) have a card; On track unticked: those still racing have none; Finished unticked: neither the finishers nor the eliminated athletes; Without inactive: an inactive athlete (an eliminated one is) has no card.
Race states shown
Loaded (not started yet), In progress, Finished (everyone has finished, still open in FINISH). The view only shows races in the ticked states: a “start list” view ticks only Loaded, a “results” view only Finished. There is no box for “not run” or “run”: those races are never shown.
Remove finished after (s)
A finished race disappears from the view this long after its last passing; 0: it stays.
Hold (s)
How long “with hold” elements are displayed after a passing (5 s).
Cumulative: timer before first passing
“Cumulative (split)” shows the race clock until the athlete has crossed the line.
Schedule: also races not run yet and races already run
Schedule view only. Unticked: only loaded, in-progress or finished races. Ticked: all the races of the session, with no athlete or time (the one intended exception to the races-in-progress rule).
Start positions
“3;4”: only athletes who started from positions 3 and 4 have a card (separators “;”, “,” or spaces; no ranges). Empty: everyone. One view per lane for a race in pairs: “1” on one screen, “2” on the other.

Overall standings (EVENT)

Where: at the bottom; for the “EVENT overall standings” Chart only

Lines per page
0: as many lines as the card area holds (row height, columns).
Race order
“Race order in EVENT”, “By name”, “By distance”, “By category and gender”, “Most recently updated first”.
Races shown
Words searched in the name, category, gender or distance, separated by “;” (“500m; 1000m”); “-junior” excludes. Empty: all the races broadcast by EVENT.

Each page stays “Page (s)” seconds without changing: standings modified meanwhile appear on the next page. After the last page of a race, the next race. See the overall standings view.

Event programme (EVENT)

Where: at the bottom; for the “EVENT event programme” chart only

Current block
The background taken by the elements (those that have a background) of the card of the current block or break; amber by default. Empty: no highlighting.
Next block
The same for the block or break that follows; blue by default.
Only what is not finished
Finished blocks, breaks and sessions leave the list.

The text is black or white depending on the background. See the event programme view.
