A race card view
One card per loaded race or race in progress: its name, its clock, the lap counter and its leader. Handy when two pairs share the track, or for a screen near the line.
Example: the Coupe Hollywood, 1000 m Women; two pairs of group G1 skate together, and the next pair is loaded.
1. Create the view
- Open the editor
Ctrl+E (or View editor…), then New: a copy of the default view, “New view”.
- The type and the card area
View tab: Name “Starford races”, Chart “Race cards”. Card area: Row height 220, Columns (laps) 1, Column width 1920.
The preview shows one card per sample race, 220 pixels high.
- The fields
“Fields” list: untick the default view's fields you do not want (Position, Team, No. of laps to go, Cumulative (split), Athlete (avatar)). Tick Race, Race information, Race timer, Lap counter; keep Athlete name, Image, start colour and Lap N (last lap): on a race card, they show the leader.
- Position and style
Drag each element in the preview (or enter Offset X, Offset Y, Width, Height). “Race” in 30-point bold; “Race timer” in 64 points, yellow “#FFD54F”, right-aligned; “Lap counter” on a blue “#00A0E3” background with a radius of 10; “Lap N” on a “#263238” background. For a frame common to the whole card, a background image: “Image, background #1” (View tab, Images).
- Hide what is empty
On “Lap counter”, “Lap N” and “Image, start colour”: Hide if empty or 0. A loaded race has neither a lap counter nor a leader: nothing of these elements remains on its card.
- Save
Ctrl+S.
“"Starford races" saved”; the file
Vues\Starford races.vue.jsonis written.
2. Use it
Control panel, VIEWS → Race: “Starford races”. For a screen near the line dedicated to the lap counter, make an athlete cards view filtered on a start position instead (View tab, Start positions), one per lane.
