ChronoFEED TABLEAU Help

An athlete table

One row per athlete, columns with their titles, and each athlete's latest laps: the view for mass-start races, finals and training sessions.

Example: the Omnium Hollywood short track (111 m track), final A of the 1000 m Women, six skaters.

The result: the “Omnium, final” view on the last lap.

1. The type and the area

  1. A new view

Editor (Ctrl+E) → New. View tab: Name “Omnium, final”, Chart “Athlete table (one row per athlete)”.

  2. The lap columns

    Columns (laps) 4: four columns “N”, “N-1”, “N-2”, “N-3”; Column width 150; Row height 64; Header height 56.

  3. The formats

Time “1:02.45”, Laps and gaps “1:02.45”: laps to the hundredth (“09.21”).

2. The columns

  1. Tick the fields

With Ticked only to keep things clear: Position, Start line pos., Athlete name, Team, No. of laps to go, Cumulative (split) and Lap formatting (the style of the lap columns); in the banner: Competition, Race (“In the banner” box), Race timer and Timer info.

  2. Order and width

In a table, the position of a cell only sets the order: from left to right according to Offset X (0, 10, 20…). Each column keeps its Width: 90 for Position, 70 for the start position, 560 for the name, 160 for the team, 150, 230.

  3. The start dot

“Start line pos.”: Colors “Starting position colour” and a Radius of 24: the number on the colour of each skater's helmet.

  4. The cell text

Text section of each column: the name in 22-point bold left-aligned, the team in 18-point grey, the time right-aligned. “Lap formatting” sets the text of the lap columns.

3. The column headers

The “Athlete name” sheet: the “Column header” section only exists in an Athlete table view (preview with “Received data”).
  1. One style for all the headers

Choose the “Lap formatting” element, Column header section: size 18, Bold, colour “#FFFFFF”, Background “#054D76”.

The headers of the lap columns (“N”, “N-1”…) take this style, and so do those of every column whose header was left at the default values.

  2. The titles

Choose each column: header Text “Pos.”, “Athlete”, “Club”, “To go”, “Time” (empty: the information's label, “Athlete name”); a space for the start dot. Align each title like its cells (Horizontal).

  3. A different header

A column can have its own header style (colour, background, font): set it in its sheet. Paste style only copies the cell style, not the header style.

The 56-pixel title row above the lines; it stays at the top when the lines are shown in pages.

4. The pages

  1. The delay

More athletes than rows: the table shows the rows page by page. Page (s) (View tab, Card area) sets the delay between two pages: 3 s for a new “Athlete table” view.

  2. The page number

Tick “Pagination (x/y)”: in the banner, “2/3”; empty when everything fits on one page.

  3. No pagination

Pagination off: always the first page. See the practice scenario.

5. Use it

Ctrl+S, then in the panel, VIEWS → Race and Results: “Omnium, final”. For the results, duplicate it and tick only the “Finished” state (Race states shown); for an elimination race, tick “Without inactive” and add “Eliminated athletes (list)” in the banner.
