Schedule Training

A club has few transponders and many athletes: the groups share them according to a schedule. At the time of each slot, FINISH closes the training sessions in progress and gives the transponders to the athletes of the next group.

The schedule of an invented club: the Advanced group is on the track this Monday until 7:30 p.m. (simplified planner).
  1. The schedule, the forced switch, the group on track.
  2. The groups and their athletes, each with their transponders.

Schedule

Where: Timing, Schedule tab (Training activity only)

  • Schedule on: at the time of each slot change, the training sessions in progress are saved and closed (raced), then the athletes of the new group are loaded with their transponders. Outside any slot, nobody is on the track: the transponders point to nobody. Unchecked, the session goes back to its own athletes.
  • Switch now… puts the group chosen in the list on the track, without waiting; the schedule takes over again at the next planned change. Nobody on track… clears the track immediately.
  • Groups: Add…, Rename…, Delete; a click on the dot changes the group's color (its blocks in the planner).
  • Athletes of group: Add an athlete (type the name in place), Remove, Import the session's athletes. Transponders are chosen among the active transponders in the database (open list: type the beginning of the usual code). Within a group, a transponder has only one athlete (an entry already taken is grayed out); the same one can serve an athlete of another group. A transponder missing from the database stays displayed in red, “(not in the database)”.
  • The planner (Monday first, 24 h; a red line marks “now”, the current slot has a red outline): dragging in an empty area creates a slot for the chosen group; dragging a block moves it (holding Ctrl: copies it); dragging its top or bottom edge changes the start or end; snaps to the quarter hour (Alt: 5 minutes); double-click: the record (day, start, end, group; an end earlier than the start goes past midnight); right-click: edit, change group, duplicate to a day, to weekdays or to every day, delete, undo; Del; Ctrl+Z (30 changes). A placement that would overlap another slot is shown in red and refused.

Changing the current slot (the group on the track right now) would close the training sessions: FINISH asks first. The schedule belongs to the computer (file horaire.json in the FINISH folder, never in the database).
