Scenarios
Complete cases, step by step, with the invented sample data: the SPEEDSKATING FAMOUS (SKF) federation, its regional federation HOLLYWOOD SPEEDSKATING (HSK), their nine clubs and eighty athletes, and the Starford oval (400 m).
- Install and set up a computer
The session, then each way of timing: transponders, photocells, photo finish, manual; the lines of the track.
- Long track competition
The Coupe Hollywood, loaded from EVENT through the shared database or from a file: pairs, groups, starts, corrections.
- Free practice
Club night: free sequence, min/max, lapping, unassigned transponders, an Excel file per race, automatic closing.
- A decoder with no passings
It is connected and sees the chips, but FINISH counts nothing: read the rejection log and the detailed log, set the clock.
- Broadcast to TABLEAU and VOICE
Displays and voice on the track network, the bell, a remote display through Redis.
- Manage athletes
Import the SKF list, complete records in bulk, affiliations, photos and avatars, transfer the photos from one computer to another.
- Create my own elimination rule
The grid, the formula derived at the start, duplicating a federation rule, using it in a favourite; your rules kept at every update.
- Results in the ChronoFEED database
FINISH sends no results: only EVENT publishes official results. Inform athletes, complete records, what remains in FINISH.
- An athlete asks to see or delete their results
A parent at the timing table: view their results on the server, delete one or all, refuse publication.
- Pair a coach's tablet
Accept ChronoFEED-COACH, receive the coach's access request to their athletes of the current session, accept it fully or partly; add more later, withdraw an access; live sending and catching up.
